Dangal Girls Fatima and Saniya Could Have Won Olympic Medals, Says Trainer – The Friday released, biographical sports drama flick Dangal has successfully completed its opening weekend on an outstanding note. It has been garnering an overwhelmed response from the worldwide audience and attaining a huge income at domestic as well as international box office. Due to very strong content and brilliant performances by the entire star cast, the movie has collected super positive reviews by film critics and fans too, which has generated a strong word of mouth for it.
As we know the film is all about the life of former Indian wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat who coached his daughters Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari. The lead actor and actress had undergone a very crucial transformation to depict the main characters in the film. The Indore-based wrestler Kripa Shankar Bishnoi trained superstar Aamir Khan and his on-screen daughters Fatima Sana Shaikh and Saniya Malhotra for this wrestler drama film.
Kripa Shankar, who won gold medals for India at 2005’s Commonwealth wrestling championship, took to coaching after achieving the impressive heights. The outstanding success of the flick has made him famous now and he started receiving calls from all over the world to join the respective campaign to train their upcoming wrestlers. The 40-years old wrestler has also won the prestigious Arjun award. The veteran wrestler just saw the movie and strongly appreciated the performances of the lead characters.
In one of his recent interview, he said that Dangal girls had delivered astonishing performances and he felt so much delighted after watching their skills and acting on big screen. He also said that Fatima and Saniya had grabbed the medals for the country at Olympics by choosing to become actresses and not wrestlers. He also added that they are extremely talented and if they had been the wrestlers, then they could have won Olympic medals for our country.
