As we know, The PK star, Aamir Khan is portraying the role of former national level wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat who belongs to Bhiwani district of Haryana. The Uttar Pradesh government has earlier given tax exemption to the movie. So, now according to the recent buzz, On Sunday, 25th of December, 2016, the Haryana government had announced Mr. Perfectionist, Aamir Khan’s latest offering, Dangal tax-free in the state. This is indeed a very big advantage for the movie. Since Phogat family hails from Haryana, this tax exemption will give a perfect boost to the business of Dangal in its forthcoming weeks itself.
The exemption has been declared in order to view the promotion of ‘Beti Bachao. Beti Padhao’ program and also based on the main theme of wrestling. While addressing a public meeting held at Garhi-Sampla near Rohtak, the Chief Minister of the state, Manohar Lal Khattar announced this exemption. He said that the state government was also working to promote Haryanvi films and hence a meeting was organized with cinema operators of the state in this connection. He also told that the government would launch its film policy as soon as possible to promote Haryanvi and other language films.
